I'm Isurie Kanchana Liyanage, an IT graduate from the University of Moratuwa with professional experience in software engineering. My work has included card and corporate banking solutions, with a focus on Java-based systems and database-backed applications.

I value clear communication, thoughtful problem-solving and continuous learning. I'm interested in opportunities where I can contribute to dependable products and keep growing across software development and quality engineering.

Worked on software solutions in the digital payments and financial services domain, including card and corporate banking products.

Contributed to the iCard card-solutions product and later the iWallet corporate-banking product.
Worked within Java/J2EE and database-backed application environments.
Collaborated with a team to develop and maintain software for business needs.

Aug 2019 – Feb 2020

Trainee Software Engineer

Aspitio (Pvt.) Ltd.

Completed a six-month internship contributing to the Finance Module of Akura, a cloud-based school management system.

Contributed to design, implementation, testing and documentation.
Technologies included Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JSP/Servlets, Angular, MySQL and Apache Tomcat.
